Syngenta PPM introduces new leadership for its marketing and technical services teams

  • Pat Willenbrock, Gregg Wisniewski and Steve Dorer have been appointed to new positions within the Syngenta PPM marketing team
  • Chris Keefer is the newest addition to the Syngenta PPM technical services team
GREENSBORO, N.C., USASyngenta Professional Pest Management (PPM) has introduced new leadership to its marketing and technical services groups, in its continuing effort to enhance the growth of the PPM business and support of the pest management industry.

Pat Willenbrock is now head of marketing of PPM for Syngenta in North America. In her new capacity,  Willenbrock leads the marketing team responsible for the PPM business, including launching and developing new products and programs, interacting with key stakeholders and achieving financial targets. She has been with Syngenta for more than 25 years, including 10 years working with PPM. During Willenbrock’s career, her roles have included setting marketing strategies, shepherding new product introductions and leading marketing research and data analytic teams. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bucknell University and a master’s in business administration from DePaul University.



Gregg Wisniewski is the newly appointed insecticides brand manager. In this role, Wisniewski is working with product development managers, market managers and numerous other functions to oversee long-term strategies for the insecticide portfolio across all Lawn and Garden markets within Syngenta, including turf, ornamentals and PPM. Wisniewski holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Pennsylvania State University and is pursuing his master’s in business administration from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He joined Syngenta in 2012.




Steve Dorer has been appointed market manager of PPM for Syngenta. Dorer is responsible for developing and executing business and market plans that drive growth for the PPM business. Prior to his new position, Dorer served as a territory manager for the Turf and Landscape business for Syngenta for more than nine years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s in turfgrass management from North Carolina State University.





Chris Keefer will be serving as the southeast technical service manager of PPM. In his new role, Keefer will be responsible for providing technical support to sales and marketing in a 10-state territory that stretches from North Carolina to Florida, and west to Texas. Keefer was previously a research scientist in urban entomology at Texas A&M University for the past 11 years. Prior to his work at Texas A&M University, Keefer served as a staff entomologist at ABC Pest Control and as a technician at Aggieland Pest Control. He holds a bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degree in entomology, all from Texas A&M University.
