MINNETONKA, Minn., USA, –
Syngenta facilities in Iowa and Minnesota have been recognized for outstanding safety performance in the workplace.
In Jefferson, Iowa, the Syngenta seed production and supply facility was honored by the
Iowa-Illinois Safety Council, a chapter of the National Safety Council. The Syngenta Jefferson site earned awards in two categories, including Community Enrichment, for significant contributions to its local community.
The
Minnesota Safety Council recognized the Syngenta Amboy and Dassel, Minnesota, seed production and supply facilities, and the Owatonna and Stanton, Minnesota, R&D sites with the Governor’s Safety Award for superior performance in workplace safety and health. The Amboy, Dassel and Owatonna locations were among 40 companies selected for the council’s highest award, the Award of Honor. This is the sixth consecutive year the Dassel site has received the Award of Honor. The Amboy facility was a first-time recipient. The Stanton location earned an Outstanding Achievement Award.
