Sterol Biosynthesis Inhibitors (SBI) Fungicides
NA-SBI working group of FRAC
The NA-SBI working group of the North American Fungicide Resistance Action Committee (NA-FRAC) was re-established in 2004 after the approval of new uses of existing SBI fungicides and the registration of new SBI fungicides in the United States. The SBI members including Bayer Crop Science, BASF, Dow AgroSciences, and Syngenta coordinates with the SBI international working group in the harmonization of resistance management guidelines. Resistance management for SBI fungicides are required and the risk of resistance of this group of fungicides is considered medium.
