Dr. Langston is an extension plant pathologist and professor at Virginia Tech. He received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech and is currently director of the Tidewater Agricultural Research and Extension Center in Suffolk, Va. His work focuses on detection and diagnosis of diseases and nematodes in commercial vegetables, as well as developing sustainable and practical disease and nematode management tactics.

Dr. Taylor is a research and extension assistant professor at Virginia Tech. She received her Ph.D. from North Carolina State University and is currently stationed at the Tidewater Agricultural Research and Extension Center in Suffolk, Va. Her work focuses on developing insect pest management plans that are economical to Virginia growers and reduce environmental inputs. Her program specializes in insect pests of corn, cotton, peanuts, soybeans and small grains. Dr. Taylor's program focuses in part on monitoring for and developing plans to mitigate insect resistance to insecticides and GM crops.
