Meet our 2015 Winners

National Graduate Level Winner
Mitch Roth of Michigan State University

Upon receiving his scholarship last fall, Mitch said he planned to apply his scholarship towards tuition and professional development. “I would like to utilize a portion of the scholarship to join the International Society for Molecular Plant-Microbe Interactions. There’s also an international conference this summer that I’d like to attend so I can meet with the leaders in the field,” Roth said.

National Undergraduate Level Winner
Logan Crumbaugh of Michigan State University

Logan appreciates the practical application of the scholarship program and encourages others to apply. “When you apply you have the opportunity to broaden your understanding of the industry. You could be in farming your whole life and still learn more about ag every day,” Crumbaugh said. He said he looks forward to graduation and returning to the family farm.
