Syngenta thanks everyone who participated in the Acuron® corn herbicide #ShowYourRowContest. A special congratulations goes to growers Doug Lapp of Cochranville, Pennsylvania, and Timothy Foster of Auburn, New York, who are the grand prizewinners of the competition. They each have received a $500 StubHub™ gift card.
Congrats to @bubbalapp and @tjfoster20, winners of our #ShowYourRowContest! #corn #agronomy
The social media contest celebrated those who actively manage tough weeds with Acuron brand herbicides. By sharing images of weed-free cornfields on Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #ShowYourRowContest, participants were automatically entered into the competition.
“Doug’s and Timothy’s respective entries are picturesque examples of the long-lasting residual weed control growers can achieve.”
“Acuron corn herbicide helps growers find 5 to15* more bushels per acre, because it controls tough, yield-robbing weeds better than any other herbicide,” says David Piñon, communications lead for corn herbicides at Syngenta. “Doug’s and Timothy’s respective entries are picturesque examples of the long-lasting residual weed control growers can achieve. We congratulate them and look forward to helping corn growers keep their fields clean in 2020 and beyond.”
