As the U.S. agronomy manager for NK® seeds, Todd McRoberts oversees Syngenta’s entire team of NK agronomists. Committed to quality customer service, packed with over 25 years of agronomy experience and armed with a wealth of knowledge, Todd leads the charge with confidence in the NK products he and his team represent.
Seeing not just the big picture but also the entire agricultural picture of the U.S., Todd has the unique advantage of knowing when and where an NK product might work before it’s ever introduced in a certain area. “I get to look at multiple regions across the U.S., which allows me to see how hybrids work in different geographies,” says Todd. “So as I’m traveling through a specific area, I have the understanding of how products could fit better across a geography that could be five states away.” It’s that kind of forethought that makes Todd invaluable to the producers and retailers he serves. He’s constantly thinking proactively – looking at one farmer’s challenge as another farmer’s answer.
When Todd’s not providing solutions for the country’s farmers, he’s learning from his own acreage in Wisconsin. “I like to stay involved with agriculture because if I’m out there doing it, I can see firsthand what’s happening day to day and what’s working for me.” He’s a true boots-on the-ground guy who’s eager to spread the word about the new, different and strong product lineup from NK.
