Syngenta partnered with the Ecosystem Services Market Consortium (ESMC) and Nutrien Ag Solutions to create a pilot program for growers to unlock carbon potential on their farms.

The Challenge

Carbon markets are challenging and uncertain

By creating a pilot program with Nutrien Ag Solutions and ESMC, Syngenta is helping facilitate growers’ ability to generate and sell carbon credits.

Enrolled growers have access to:

An up-front sign-up incentive payment. One-on-one support from Sustainable Envrionmental Consultants to acess public and private funding. Support with the transition to new practice adoption. Early-access to ESMC carbon marketplace, with the option to extend after one year. Multiple public and private funding opportunities.

The Solution

Syngenta and Nutrien Ag Solutions are helping growers navigate the process of monetizing carbon credits. Developing a carbon credit requires a whole-acre approach to meet the goals of the farm while also creating value for carbon markets.
