  • Provides up-to-date information directly from the field
  • Updates shared on social media using #TurfInsights
GREENSBORO, N.C., USA - The new GreenCast® Field Insights blog, available from Syngenta, provides updates on various topics, such as current pest issues and recommended control solutions, across the turf, landscape and ornamental markets.

“Syngenta has one of the largest sales teams in the field who are helping our customers solve problems every day,” said Tripp Trotter, head of marketing for turf and ornamentals at Syngenta. “We hope the new Field Insights blog will be a valuable resource for making their extensive knowledge easily accessible, while creating awareness of real-time updates and solutions from a source they can trust.”

In the new blog, Syngenta experts from across the country are providing timely updates on what they are seeing in the field. Additionally, Karl Danneberger, Ph.D. professor in the Department of Horticulture and Crop Science at The Ohio State University, will serve as an academic resource for the blog. Danneberger has extensively researched turf grass science for more than 30 years and continues to provide insight on a variety of agronomic topics.

By providing information about current pest pressures and challenges, the blog will be a valuable resource to help superintendents, lawn care operators and greenhouse and nursery growers understand what is happening in their area. In addition to providing technical recommendations and agronomic advice, the blog also covers topics such as how to create and build a following for a blog and tips for joining conversations on social media.

The blog will be updated regularly and continue to focus on timely topics throughout the year.
