Dr. Brown is an extension entomologist with 100 percent extension responsibilities in entomology for cotton and soybean in LA. Common pests he reports on are bollworms, corn earworms, and redbanded stink bugs. He is stationed at the Macon Ridge Research Station in Winnsboro and the Northeast Research Station in St. Joseph. He has prior experience in academia as a technician for the Texas A&M system in Beaumont, where he worked primarily with insect pests in rice and soybean.
