Mr. Biles is the Texas AgriLife Extension Agent-IPM for Calhoun, Victoria and Refugio Counties in TX. He earned bachelor's degrees in agronomy and entomology as well as a master's degree in agronomy from Texas A&M University. Mr. Biles works to make cotton, corn, grain sorghum and soybean growing practices safer, more profitable and less environmentally impactful. His agricultural focus covers multiple areas, including weed management and early season cotton pest management. Common pests he reports on include sugarcane aphids, bollworms and cotton fleahoppers.
