Dr. Kerns is Professor in the Department of Entomology at Texas A&M University, the Texas State IPM Coordinator and a Row Crop Extension Specialist for Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. His research focuses on developing IPM programs in row crops, including cotton, corn, grain sorghum and soybeans. Dr. Kerns received his B.S. degree in entomology from Texas A&M University, a M.S. in entomology from Oklahoma State University and a Ph.D. in entomology from Auburn University.
