After spending several years in the Syngenta family as a Golden Harvest agronomist, Scott shifted to NK to assist in the reintroduction of the legacy brand. His experience in the southern Corn Belt helps growers achieve success. “I see issues with our claypan soils and compaction. So, I walk fields, dig up plants and make sure compaction isn’t an issue,” he remarks. “Helping a grower understand, manage and alleviate compaction is enjoyable and helps ensure they reach their yield goals the following years.” Scott’s family enjoys vacationing to the mountains where hiking is a favorite activity. They see bears, wolves and other wildlife, making discoveries along the way. This passion for discovery is mirrored in Scott’s commitment to growers, walking with them to evaluate hybrids and helping them find the best of what’s new from NK. Return to Corn Hybrid Insights
