Syngenta employees honored by National FFA Organization


INDIANAPOLIS, I.N., USA, November 9, 2022 – Syngenta team members received Honorary American FFA Degrees during the 95th Annual National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. The 2022 honorees from Syngenta are Head of Global Seeds Strategy and Portfolio Head David Hollinrake, Head of North America Seeds Sales Service Operations Dawn Dietz, and East Heartland Commercial Unit District Manager Tim Hoberty.

This award is given to those who advance agricultural education and FFA through outstanding personal commitment. The National FFA Organization works to enhance the lives of youth through agricultural education. Without the efforts of highly dedicated individuals, thousands of young people would not be able to achieve the success that, in turn, contributes directly to the overall well-being of the nation.

The Honorary American FFA Degree is an opportunity to recognize those who have gone beyond valuable daily contributions to make an extraordinary long-term difference in the lives of students, inspiring confidence in a new generation of agriculturists. Members of the National FFA Organization’s board of directors approved the nomination.

Dawn, Tim and David were active students in their respective FFA chapters and have remained committed to supporting the current and next generation of ag leaders. In addition to this year’s degree, David was named the 2023 Chairman of the National FFA Foundation Sponsors’ Board.

All Honorary American FFA Degree recipients received a plaque and medal, and their names will be permanently recorded as recipients of the highest FFA honor.
